DRAFT · pending lawyer review

Privacy

This draft describes what MoiMoy stores today. It is not legal advice and is not final.

What we collect

A host gives a name, an email, an optional phone, a handle, and a short bio. A guest gives a name and an email, or a phone if texts are on. The one-time code proves that contact. The ticket link is the guest’s way back in. An optional saved profile can hold a photo, a short bio, Instagram, TikTok, and another link.

Who can see it

Public pages show the host and the gathering. They do not show guest emails or phone numbers. Social links on a saved profile are shown only to hosts of gatherings that guest joined or applied to. MoiMoy does not ask for ethnicity, race, or ancestry. An identity check records a pass or a fail only. It does not store an ID image.

Email, texts, and cookies

Sign-in links and RSVP codes go to email. A confirmation includes a link back to your RSVP. If you ask us to find an RSVP, we email a link only when that address has one, and the page always gives the same reply. Texts are not sent yet. If you check the reminder box, we save that consent for later, and a later text would include STOP. We store a session cookie so you stay signed in, and an anonymous cookie so a host can see link taps without your name.

Delete

A guest can delete the account and its data from the profile page, including past RSVPs tied to that account. Hosts meet in public venues. Venue text is what the host typed.
