moimoyFind my RSVP

moimoy and Meetup

Meetup is a directory of groups. moimoy is a link you place where your people already are. Those are different jobs. moimoy is free to try and does not charge a membership in this version.

What Meetup is for

Meetup's organizer pages describe starting a group, scheduling events, and reaching people in Meetup's network. Organizer tools are sold as a subscription, and Meetup has also described a starter option for first-time organizers. Prices depend on the plan and where you sign up.

What moimoy is for

You already have a club chat, a bio, or a following. The link collects RSVPs for the next gathering: time, public place, spots, waitlist, reminder, and check-in. moimoy does not introduce the group to strangers and does not list it in a city directory.

Which one fits

Choose Meetup when you want people who use Meetup to find the group. Choose moimoy when the group already exists and you need a short RSVP page. You can use a bio link without joining a directory.

Questions

Is moimoy a Meetup alternative?

For RSVPs from a community you already have, it can be. It is not a way to be discovered by people browsing a directory.

Does moimoy charge organizers a subscription?

Not in this version. It is free to try, and signup does not ask for a card.

Can members from Meetup RSVP here?

Only if you send them the link. There is no Meetup import.
